ABOUT ME
Amal Khalil
Founder and Head Speech & Language Therapist
Hi! My name is Amal. I’m a Mum of two and Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. I’m passionate about Early Intervention and I have a particular interest in Early Language Development.

I trained at Sheffield University and I have worked for the NHS, providing Speech and Language Therapy for a range of complex communication needs in clinics, nurseries, children’s centres and mainstream schools.
​
I am a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (MRSCLT), the Health Professionals Council (HPC Reg), and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
MY APPROACH
Play, Learn, Develop
I started playcubs in February 2021 after the birth of my son as I wanted to have more flexibility with my work/life balance. Through Instagram, I have been able to provide support and resources for families all over the world. I'm passionate about working as a team to teach YOU how to support your child to become effective communicators so that they can reach their communication potential.

Children learn about the world they live in by playing. Play is also vital for language development. You can follow me on social media @playcubs for the latest tips and tricks and play activities to support your child’s speech and language development.
